On a lonely road alone I tread,
Where shades of darkness ever pledge,
Where tears of joy are overshadowed by fears,
No dreams to share with friends and seers,
On this lonely road alone I tread.
On a gory island alone I trek,
Where woes are better than foes,
Where machoism is suppressed by masochism,
No odyssey reveals heroism,
On this gory island alone I trek.
On a fiery sea alone I sail,
Where stories of cruise are often fateful prose,
Where feats of failure prowess over seeds of fruition,
No voyage reaches culmination,
On this fiery sea alone I sail.
Such is my state of isolation,
Hence, I need Divine Invocation.
