An Attempt

iss insaniyat ki andhad main
meharbano ke bhawandar main
humsa koi begairat banjara
ajnabi chehro ki numaish main
ek haseen parchai ki khoj main
apne kheme se dastbardaar ho chala

na mili adab na mili raqam na mili dildaari
ghutta raha apne nafs main
or avsit ho gaya.

Divine Invocation

On a lonely road alone I tread,
Where shades of darkness ever pledge,
Where tears of joy are overshadowed by fears,
No dreams to share with friends and seers,
On this lonely road alone I tread.

On a gory island alone I trek,
Where woes are better than foes,
Where machoism is suppressed by masochism,
No odyssey reveals heroism,
On this gory island alone I trek.

On a fiery sea alone I sail,
Where stories of cruise are often fateful prose,
Where feats of failure prowess over seeds of fruition,
No voyage reaches culmination,
On this fiery sea alone I sail.

Such is my state of isolation,
Hence, I need Divine Invocation.

A New Beginning

'Folklore' is a blog created and written to reignite in society an eye for the lost traditions and culture in the 'Modern World' of ours'. The flamingo-in-flight is a significant logo chosen for the blog which uniquely characterizes the bird's ability to separate mud and silt from the food they eat. While they have this gifted ability to distinguish what is healthy and unhealthy, they also have the adaptive nature to various climates and ecologies. The bird stands as an example for the people to see what is proper while surely adapting the new ways of the next-gen and foreign lands. It needs nothing more than a discreet belief in thy culture.
